As part of knowledge sharing, the AFC is offering 4 “Knowledge transfer in cytometry” mobility grants in 2024.

These scholarships allow the financing of transport, accommodation and catering costs at the INSERM flat rate for the requested mobility, up to €2000.

These scholarships are accessible to all AFC members up to date with their subscription for the year during which the training will take place (Year N), regardless of their membership and their status.

Evaluation of CA files before mid-April 2024

The admissibility of applications and the decision to award a scholarship are made by majority vote.
members of the AFC Board of Directors. The CA reserves the right to request additional information regarding requests received.

The response will be sent no later than the end of April to the beneficiary, their manager and the manager of the host site, subject to rapid obtaining of any additional information.

The funding application file includes the “Transfer of knowledge in cytometry” grant application file and a letter of acceptance from the head of the host laboratory.

The amount of this AFC grant is a maximum of €2,000 per stay. Reimbursements will only be made upon sending original supporting documents upon return from the stay (hotel invoice, meals, train tickets, reception structure invoice, etc.) and before the end of year N. Reimbursement of expenses incurred will be subject to the submission of a report (sent to contact@afcytometrie.fr) within the month following the return of mobility. This report must be validated by the internship tutor. It will make it possible to evaluate the involvement and work carried out by the fellow.

This report will be published on the AFC website for the benefit of our community. The recipient of the grant will be invited to present the work carried out in the form of a webinar.

The AFC Board of Directors will ensure the correct conformity of the supporting documents provided to it and will take into account the opinion of the head of the host laboratory before making any reimbursement during year N .
